Leadership & Governance:

* Manjit Kaur, Director & Founder President: Our visionary leader, Manjit Kaur, provides the strategic direction and inspiration for the foundation. Her passion for social service is the driving force behind our numerous initiatives.
* Sukhjit Kaur, Director: Working closely with the founder, Sukhjit Kaur plays a pivotal role in organizational planning, governance, and ensuring we stay true to our core values.
* Mohinder Singh, Board of Director: Bringing valuable oversight and guidance, Mohinder Singh helps steer the foundation towards sustainable growth and maximum impact.
* Gurdeep Singh, Secretary: Gurdeep Singh manages our official records, ensures smooth communication within the team, and upholds the foundation’s administrative integrity.
* Hitesh Khanna, General Secretary: Supporting the day-to-day operations, Hitesh Khanna coordinates activities and helps implement our strategies on the ground.

Operational & Project Management:

* Shunny Kumar, Project Manager: Shunny Kumar is the engine of our projects, meticulously planning, executing, and monitoring our initiatives to ensure they deliver real benefits to the communities we serve.
* Major Singh, HR: Major Singh fosters our internal community, managing our valuable volunteers and staff, who are our greatest asset.

Varinder Singh

As the Program Director, Varinder Singh is the strategic architect behind our on-ground initiatives, dedicating his expertise and time purely as a volunteer to serve the community. Operating remotely, he exemplifies how passion and technology can unite to create widespread impact.

His role is pivotal in ensuring that our projects are not only conceived with compassion but are also executed with precision, efficiency, and measurable results.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

* Strategic Planning & Design: Leads the conceptualization, planning, and development of new projects and programs aligned with the foundation’s mission.
* Remote Coordination & Management: Expertly oversees and coordinates project activities across various states in India, managing timelines, resources, and volunteer teams from a distance.
* Process Optimization: Develops and implements efficient systems and protocols to ensure smooth operation and seamless communication between remote teams and on-ground personnel.
* Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E): Establishes robust frameworks to track project progress, measure impact, and ensure accountability to our donors and beneficiaries.
* Report Synthesis: Compiles comprehensive reports on project outcomes, leveraging data to guide future strategy and demonstrate the foundation’s effectiveness.
* A Bridge for Impact: Serves as a critical link between the foundation’s leadership, its field operators, and the communities we serve, ensuring that strategic goals translate into tangible action.

About Our Nonprofit & Tax Deduction (80G)

The Helping Hands for Asia Foundation is a registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Ludhiana, Punjab, with a pan-India vision. We are dedicated to empowering communities and driving social development across Asia through targeted initiatives in education, healthcare, livelihood, and emergency relief.

We believe in complete transparency and accountability. We are registered under the stringent laws of India, and our operations are governed by a committed board of directors.

Make a Tax-Smart Donation

Your generous contributions to Helping Hands for Asia Foundation are not just a act of charity; they are also eligible for tax benefits under the Indian Income Tax Act, 1961.

We hold a valid Section 80G Registration Certificate issued by the Income Tax Department of India.

How to Claim the Deduction:

Simply retain the receipt we provide for your donation. This receipt will contain our 80G Unique Registration Number. You can then claim the deduction when filing your Income Tax Return (ITR) for the financial year in which the donation was made.
